Scott Mace writes about health, healthcare technology, other technology, and urban issues. He graduated from San Jose State University and was a senior editor at IDG publication InfoWorld for 16 years, covering topics such as database management and government oversight of technology. Since 2004, he has specialized in the field of healthcare IT journalism. Mace is currently a freelance journalist based in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.
