Scott Mace writes about health, healthcare technology, other technology, and urban issues. He graduated from San Jose State University and was a senior editor at IDG publication InfoWorld for 16 years, covering topics such as database management and government oversight of technology. Mace is currently a freelance journalist based in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.
